• Texas Tech has now scored in 241-straight games dating back to the 1997 season, a streak that ranks 11th nationally and second in the Big 12 Conference.
• Texas Tech's 468 yards of total offense marked its 61st-straight game with at least 325 yards of total offense, the longest active streak in the FBS.
• Texas Tech needed just 3:23 and nine plays to find the endzone on its 75-yard opening drive. It marked the fifth time this year where the Red Raiders have scored on their opening drive fueled by four touchdowns. It was the first time Texas Tech has scored on its opening drive since going 85 yards on 14 plays to find the endzone at Kansas State on Oct. 8.
• Texas Tech forced multiple fumbles in the game. It marked the first time the Red Raiders had recorded multiple turnovers in a game since the Red Raiders recovered a fumble and had an interception in their Big 12 Conference opener against Kansas on Sept. 29.
• Texas Tech moved to 4-1 this season and 15-7 all-time under Kliff Kingsbury when leading or tied in the turnover margin.

NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
• Patrick Mahomes II posted his 20th career performance with at least 300 passing yards as he finished 36-of-59 for 367 yards and three touchdowns. It marked the seventh time this season and 20th time during his career where Mahomes has recorded 300 passing yards or more.
• Mahomes' three-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Batson to start the game marked the 101st he has accounted for during his career (rushing and passing), moving the junior past his head coach Kliff Kingsbury (1999-02) for second all-time in the Texas Tech record book. Graham Harrell (2005-08) owns the school record with 146 career touchdowns.
• Jonathan Giles came away with five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. The 55 yards brought Giles to 982 receiving yards for the season. He hauled in his 12th receiving touchdown of the season on a 6-yard scoring strike with 1:23 remaining during the first quarter.
• Dylan Cantrell set a career-best with 89 receiving yards on eight catches. His previous high was an 87-yard effort at Kansas State earlier this season on Oct. 9.
• Cameron Batson produced his first career multi-touchdown performance of his career. He finished with five receptions for 38 yards. Batson opened the game with a 3-yard touchdown at the 11:39 mark of the first quarter and added a 7-yard touchdown with 7:33 left in the third quarter.
• Derrick Willies put together one of his best performances of the season as he matched a season's best three receptions for a season-high 63 yards.Â
• Da'Leon Ward found the endzone for the second time this season as he rushed nine yards for a touchdown with 10:50 to go during the fourth quarter. Ward, making his second career start at running back, finished with 93 rushing yards on 22 carries. The Dallas native has amassed 191 rushing yards on 55 carries over Texas Tech's last two games.
• Douglas Coleman's 100 yard fumble return for a touchdown with 7:50 remaining in the second quarter marked the first time a Red Raider had returned a fumble for a touchdown since Branden Jackson landed on a loose ball in the endzone in the 2014 meeting against Texas. It marked the longest fumble return in school history which snapped the previous record of 99 yards set by Donny Brooks at Baylor in 1991.
• Jah'Shawn Johnson forced his third career fumble and first of the season early in the fourth quarter. The fumble was recovered by Ondre Pipkins, the first of his Red Raider career. Johnson led the Red Raiders with a season-high 11 tackles highlighted by 10 solo stops. It marked fourth career double-digit tackle performance (16 tackles at Arkansas • 2015 and 11 tackles at West Virginia • 2015, 11 tackles vs. West Virginia • 2016).Â
