Tech Partners with ReplyBuy for Mobile Ticket Purchases

New service will allow Red Raider fans to purchase tickets instantly via text message
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics announced Wednesday a new partnership with ReplyBuy, a global sales provider that specializes in providing fans with an instantaneous way to purchase tickets.

Through this partnership, Red Raider fans will be able to instantly buy tickets to any Red Raider sporting event by simply replying to a text message. The program begins with the Sept. 2 football season opener against Eastern Washington.

"We continue to seek ways to create easy access for our fans to purchase tickets, and we feel ReplyBuy is the perfect partner in this endeavor," Texas Tech Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Giovannetti said. "This cutting-edge platform makes it as simple as replying to a text message to purchase tickets for Red Raider athletic events."

Texas Tech fans who participate and utilize the new program will receive customized notifications, similar to a VIP concierge service, when tickets become available, enabling them to complete their purchase in a matter of seconds. All ticket purchases are submitted via text message, eliminating the hassle of clicking a link or completing additional steps.

From there, electronic tickets will be delivered to the buyer's phone instantly, which can then be scanned at any of Texas Tech's events. In addition, the faster fans respond, the better their seat locations will be.

Ticket packages are still on sale to catch the Red Raiders in all six games at Jones AT&T Stadium this season. Season tickets are available for as low as $184 a seat and can be purchased online or by contacting the Texas Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.

The list of ticket options also include mini-plans for $120 each, allowing fans to choose one game between Oklahoma State or TCU and then two others from Eastern Washington, Arizona State, Iowa State or Kansas State. The Red Raider Pass, a mobile-only season ticket selection, is still on sale as well for $150 a seat.
