Red Raiders host Arizona State in a 7 p.m. kickoff Saturday night inside Jones AT&T Stadium
LUBBOCK, Texas – Jones AT&T Stadium will be the place to be Saturday night when Texas Tech hosts Arizona State under the lights in a 7 p.m. kickoff.  Tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased by contacting the Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.
Â
Already planning to attend the game? Here's a list of what to know for Saturday's game:
Â
WEAR WHITE TO CELEBRATE COTTON
Texas Tech fans are encouraged to wear white Saturday in support of the Red Raiders and to celebrate the cotton industry. Tech will host its sixth-annual Celebrate Cotton Game on Saturday as part of its continued partnership with the Texas High Plains cotton industry. Tech fans attending Saturday's will notice several cotton-themed displays near each entrance.
Â
Lubbock County is the nation's top cotton producing area while Texas is the country's top cotton-producing state. The High Plains alone produces two-thirds of all Texas cotton and cottonseed. Cotton growers on the High Plains produce, on average, four million bales each year, which is roughly two-thirds of the Texas cotton crop, one-third of the nation's crops and four percent of the world's cotton crop.
Â
CATCH THE RED RAIDERS ON THEIR WAY TO WARMUPSÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Texas Tech fans might have noticed during the Eastern Washington game that the Red Raiders took a different path to their gameday locker room. Beginning roughly 85 minutes to kickoff, Tech will transition from its locker room inside the Football Training Facility to the one inside Jones AT&T Stadium as the Red Raiders will walk through the Sports Performance Center and enter the stadium through the doors directly under the Double T scoreboard. Fans are encouraged to greet the Red Raiders as they had to the stadium beginning around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Â
PREGAME FLYOVER
Texas Tech will have a pregame flyover Saturday night as F-16 jets will cruise over Jones AT&T Stadium immediately following the playing of the National Anthem.
Â
EXTRA YARD FOR TEACHERS WEEK
Texas Tech will be one of several schools across the nation to participate in Extra Yard for Teachers Week that is supported by the College Football Playoff Foundation. Extra Yard for Teachers is the primary platform of the CFP Foundation, whose mission is to elevate the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers. In recognition of teachers, Tech will be wearing an Extra Yard for Teachers helmet decal during Saturday's game.
Â
HALFTIME SHORTENED DUE TO NEW NCAA RULES
Fans returning to the tailgate areas during the game should be aware that halftime will be shorter moving forward than in years past. The referee will start the 20-minute clock shortly after the final play has concluded, signaling the start of halftime. The referee had previously waited until both teams cleared the field.
Â
RED RAIDER EXPERIENCE
Want to watch pregame warmups from the sidelines or maybe take a pregame photo on the field? These options are available through the Texas Tech Experience app, which allows fans to purchase various upgrades straight from their mobile device.
Â
HEAT MANAGEMENT POLICY
With Texas Tech's updated heat management, fans are reminded that an unopened 20 ounce (or less) bottle of water can now be brought into any outdoor athletics venue on campus. Please note that frozen water will not be allowed through the stadium gates.
Â
FANS ENCOURAGED TO ARRIVE EARLY
The Texas Department of Public Safety notified Texas Tech earlier this week that state troopers, who would normally assist with traffic control, will not be available Saturday due to continued Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Fans are encouraged to arrive to Jones AT&T Stadium early Saturday in order to avoid any traffic congestion.
Â
TICKET OFFICE LOCATIONS
The Texas Tech Ticket Office will open at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon in its main location on the east side of Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans can also visit the two box office locations located near Gate 1 and 3 of Jones AT&T Stadium (northwest and southwest corners).
