Men's Golf Earns GCAA Team Academic Honor

The Red Raiders received All-Academic recognition by the GCAA on Thursday.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men's golf team has earned All-Academic Team accolades by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), the league announced.

In order to be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors, a university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year and have a 3.0 team GPA. The Red Raiders are a part of a record 208 teams to receive the distinction in 2016.

Earlier this month, Hannes Ronneblad and Henry Todd garnered Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar awards by the GCAA, giving Texas Tech representation on the team four consecutive years.

Tech also placed four on the 2016 Academic All-Big 12 Golf Teams, with Ronneblad & Todd joining Wes Artac and Adam Strom on the list.
