RRC Members Invited to Lubbock Recruiting Event

Texas Tech will host a Lubbock Recruiting Review during its National Signing Day Special on Feb. 1
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics is inviting all Red Raider Club members in the Lubbock area to attend its local Recruiting Review which will be held from 8-11 a.m. on Wednesday morning inside United Supermarkets Arena.

Red Raider Club members in attendance will get the first glance at the new state-of-the-art television studio that will make its debut Wednesday morning during the National Signing Day Special presented by Nissan. The show will air live on both TexasTech.TV and the department's Facebook page.

Fans in attendance will be able to watch live interviews with head coach Kliff Kingsbury, defensive coordinator David Gibbs and offensive coordinator Eric Morris and the rest of the Red Raider coaching staff as Texas Tech unveils its 2017 signing class. Â

The event is open to the public with no admission charged. Fans are encouraged to enter the arena through the west ground-level entrance near the Texas Tech Ticket Office location. Parking will be available in the commuter west lots located north of the arena.

In addition to the local Recruiting Review, Texas Tech will also host events in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Midland areas. This year's Recruiting Reviews have been tabbed the "Tailgate Edition" as fans are encouraged to dress casually to any of the four events.

Texas Tech will host its DFW event at Gilley's located near downtown Dallas on Wednesday night. Kingsbury and his staff will then travel to Houston the following day to meet fans at Firehouse Saloon. The final Recruiting Review will be held at Horseshoe Pavilion in Midland on Feb. 7.
