Red Raiders Win A Tight One

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team defeated Colorado State University 6-3 on Sunday at the ATC. The victory ends Tech's four-match losing streak. The Red Raiders captured four singles and two doubles matches. With the win, Tech improves to 2-4 on the year (0-1 in the Big 12).
Sophomore Zana Zlebnik evened her record for the year at 3-3 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over CSU's Alana Colglazier. Tech's Noel Ruiz won for the second consecutive time, defeating Allison Forrest 6-2, 6-3, evening her overall mark at 3-3. The doubles team of Amanda Earhart and Ana Serrot improved to 5-1 with an 8-3 victory.
The Red Raiders will be in action again on Saturday, February 20 at 10:00 am against the University of Colorado. The match will be indoors at the ATC. Admission is free.
