LUBBOCK, Texas The Texas Tech fastpitch softball team lost to No. 23 ranked Southwestern Louisiana before knocking off No. 13 ranked Nebraska 5-2. The Red Raiders move to 24-7 on the season.

The team continues action today at the H.I.T. tournament in Spring, Tex. at 11 a.m. when they face USL for the second time. Then at 2 p.m. elimination rounds begin, Tech is slated to play Oklahoma Christian in the first round.
