High Riders Schedule Open Rush

LUBBOCK, Texas - The High Riders are inviting anyone interested in joining their organization to an open rush Sun., Sept. 16, at 3 p.m. and Mon., Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. in the UC Matador Room.
Rushees are asked to wear comfortable but nice clothes.
The High Riders is an all female spirit organization dedicated to the support of women's athletics at Texas Tech University while displaying the qualities of honesty, integrity and servitude.
In 1975, Nancy Neill came up with the idea for High Riders and enlisted the aid of her friends, Lyn Morris and Kathy Pate, to get the organization started. The High Riders came into being in January 1976, thus, last year the High Riders celebrated their 25th Anniversary.
