LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech softball team will play its first home game of the season at the newly completed Rocky Johnson Field, "The Rock," Tuesday against the New Mexico State Aggies at 2 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled as a double header but due to NMSU travel plans the second game of the day was cancelled.

The Red Raiders are 3-12 on the season and are in the midst of a 10-game losing streak that has seen Tech play nine of its first 15 games against top 25 teams, including two against second-ranked UCLA.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and groups of 10 or more get in for a $1 each. Following the game players will be available to sign autographs.
