Texas Tech Softball Rained Out at Houston Invitational

HOUSTON, Texas - The Texas Tech softball will have to wait another day before kicking off play at the Houston Invitational as tournament officials cancelled all games on Friday due to heavy rainfall in the Houston area. The Lady Raiders were scheduled to play Oregon and Houston at the Cougar Softball Complex on the tournament's opening day.
Tech will be back in action tomorrow, weather permitting, as they will play a trio of games, taking on Oregon at 9 a.m., Kentucky at 11 a.m. and UTSA at 3 p.m. The team will conclude play on Sunday, as they will play the tournament host Houston Cougars.
