Texas Tech Softball Home Opener Cancelled

LUBBOCK, Texas - The home opener for Texas Tech softball was cancelled due to predicted severe weather tomorrow. Tech was scheduled to play a doubleheader versus New Mexico State University on Tues., but will have to wait until this weekend to get its bats swinging.
The team will travel to Corpus Christi, Texas, this weekend for the Islander Invitational. The field includes Texas A&M-Corpus Christ, Wichita State, Baylor and Eastern Michigan.
