LUBBOCK, Texas - The 36th-ranked men's golf team shot a three-round score of 879 to finish the 12th annual Maxwell in 14th. The Red Raiders were led by true freshman Oscar Floren as he finished seven-over-par at the Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore,Okla. No.8 Oklahoma State, tournament host, took home their third consecutive title finishing the event with a three-round score of 833.

Floren (72-73-72) led the Red Raiders with a final round 72, to finish in a tie for 36th-place overall. Floren moved up five spots to finish with an overall score of 217. Andrew Dresser (72-72-75) who finished competition in a tie for 46th carded a nine-over-par performance. Sophomore Dresser shot a 219. Finishing tied for 62nd-place, junior Chris Pace (76-73-73) shot a three-round score of 222 to finish 12-over-par. Tech sophomore William Haddrell (81-72-71) improved every round to end the competition with a 71 third-round score. Haddrell finished in a tie for 68th-place overall, 224. Senior Brad Jacobson rounded out the last of the Red Raiders shooting 16-over-par, 226, to end the day tied for 73rd.

No. 14 Augusta State rallied from a fourth-place finish after day one to finish second behind Oklahoma State with a tournament score of 839. No. 17 Oklahoma (843) finished in third, followed by No. 31 Tulsa (851) in fourth and No. 32 Colorado (853) in fifth.

Tulsa's David Inglis took home individual honors with a five-under-par, 205 performance.

Next up for the Red Raiders will be the 2004 NCAA Central Regional in West Lafayette, Ind., May 20-22.
