Texas Tech Women's Golf Posts 14th Place Finish

PARRISH, Fla. - The Texas Tech women's golf team turned in a 14th place finish at the Central Regional Invitational in Parrish, Fla.

The Lady Raiders were led by senior Hazel Tan who fired back-to-back rounds of 76 in the tournament's second and third rounds to finish with a three-round total of 234 at the event, placing her in a tie for 36th place.

Senior Ashley Slavich and junior Marla Troester, each finish in a tie for 59th place with identical tournament scores of 240, while junior Christine Kovalcik was only one shot back in a tie for 63rd place with a three-round total of 241.

Freshman Gloriana Soto rounded out the Tech contingency at the event in 70th place with a 249.
