LUBBOCK, Texas - "Get In to Win" is the theme of this year's Red Raider Club fundraising drive and new members will have the opportunity to drive away in a new 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible. The "Get In to Win" program is designed to increase the financial support provided annually to the Red Raider Club Scholarship Fund.
The Red Raider Club's primary focus is to provide Texas Tech student-athletes with the financial resources via scholarships to compete both in the classroom and on the field of play. The 2006 "Get In to Win" campaign encourages members to increase their existing membership by $150. With each $150 increment increase, each member will receive one entry to win the Mustang in the "Get In to Win Giveaway."
New members that join today will receive an entry in the drawing for every $150 of their donation. Additionally, each current member will be given three "Fund Raider" contribution cards with member account information. A current member can receive additional entries if a new member submits a contribution with a member "Fund Raiser" card. Packets will be mailed to current members this week.
The Mustang will be given away at the final home game of the season against Oklahoma State on Sat., Nov. 18. All new donations must be paid in full by November 1.
