AMES, Iowa - Alyssa Ransom threw a stellar game, improving to 10-11, on the year and throwing a no-hitter through the fifth in the fine effort by the senior. Only Jennifer Bowers and Brandy Moulin picked up hits. Ashly Jacobs suffered the loss (13-12) giving up three runs on seven hits.
The teams finish the series tomorrow at noon. The GameTracker feature should be working properly. Fans should always be certain to try to click on the correct game. Note: The game was delayed by a half hour to allow the Red Raiders to properly warm up after another strange travel day resulted in half the team's bags arriving late, including uniforms and equipment.
