DENTON, Texas - Due to poor weather in the Dallas area, Texas Tech will not play North Texas again this week. The team will catch a bus and head home to Lubbock.

Originally scheduled as a Tuesday double header, the potential for weather forced the two schools to move one of the games up to Monday night and further evaluate a second game. When Mother Nature did not cooperate, the remaining game was cancelled.

The Red Raiders will now prepare for Friday's home and Big 12 opener with No. 5-ranked Texas A&M. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
