Tickets on Sale Now for WNBA Game in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Marsha Sharp Leadership Circle and the Texas Tech Athletics Department are proud to host the WNBA in Lubbock at the United Spirit Arena on Mon., May 12, at 7 p.m. The game will feature the Detroit Shock and the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Texas Tech is excited to welcome back to Lubbock former Lady Raider Plenette Pierson of the Detroit Shock and former Big 12 standouts Sophia Young (Baylor) and Kendra Wecker (Kansas State) of the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Tickets are now on sale to the public for this event. Tickets are available for $10 for lower level reserved and $5 for general admission.
A limited number of tickets are available for the pre-game dinner for $25, which will be held in the City Bank Conference Center at the United Spirit Arena from 5:30-7 p.m.
There is also a limited number of reserved parking passes available for $20. The reserved parking area is the North Lot of the United Spirit Arena. The other parking lots surrounding the arena will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Fans can also purchase a $5 general admission ticket to be donated to the local YWCA.

Tickets also can be purchased through the Texas Tech athletic website at www.texastech.com and at area United Supermarket and Select-a-Seat locations.
Dinner tickets and parking passes can only be purchased at the Athletic Ticket Office or online at www.texastech.com.
