LUBBOCK, Texas - The Red Raider Club announced today an innovative approach that allows all Texas Tech Fans to assist in the fundraising efforts for Texas Tech Athletics. This effort allows fans to create their own on-line solicitation page! Red Raider Club members can become Fund Raiders and e-mail solicitation messages to family, friends and other contacts.
The Fund Raider program will allow members to establish personal fundraising goals and track donations in support of their efforts. RRC members can add photos, messages and more to their page in an effort to increase giving to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund by adding a personal touch to the solicitation. Fund Raiders will receive recognition of their efforts through online honor rolls. The campaign kicks off this week and will be sent to all Red Raider Club members.
"We are very excited to launch an on-line specific Red Raider Scholarship Fund drive," Amy McBride, Assistant AD/RRC said. "We look forward to seeing this grass roots effort unite Red Raiders everywhere by friends forwarding on to friends, and contributions being made at every dollar level"

The Red Raider Club is the chief fundraising arm of the Texas Tech Athletics Department and funds from all memberships and donations directly benefit the Red Raider Scholarship Fund.
