"Texas Tech Athletics is committed to utilizing all forms of social media to reach every type of fan we have on whatever type of platform they prefer," said Paige Holland, Assistant Athletics Director of External Operations. "Gone are the days when just posting information on your official athletic site is enough. Some fans still seek information and will visit websites daily to get their news fix. Others prefer information to be pushed to them through email, text messages and social networking platforms. Our job is to stay on top of the trends and incorporate any and all new communication tools that our fans utilize."
