LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Softball (30-7) comes home to host Nebraska (21-17, 1-3) for a weekend series on Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m. and then on Sunday, April 11 at Noon.
For the Red Raiders it's a shortened week, of sorts, given that the team's weekend in Waco and Austin ended when the bus rolled back to Lubbock in the wee hours on Wednesday morning following a 4-0 loss to No. 16 Texas. The team is now 2-3 in Big 12 play, after splitting with Baylor over the weekend.
Nebraska heads south on a two-game win streak after having beaten Creighton last night and splitting their Easter weekend series with No. 18 Texas A&M. Led in the circle by Robin Mackin (8-9, 2.10 ERA) and Ashley Hagemann (10-8, 3.35 ERA) the Huskers are coached by Rhonda Revelle, now in her 18th season at the helm. Nebraska leads the overall series with Texas Tech, 6-26, having split the series last year in Lincoln.
