Hougland To Attend College Sports Video Summit

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Director of Sports Broadcasting, David Hougland, will attend the College Sports Video Summit in Atlanta, Ga., June 8-9, as the nation's top broadcast directors convene in the field's largest conference and technology showcase.
The event will host the top industry leaders, including several assistant commissioner's from collegiate athletics top conferences such as the Big 12, Pac-10, and Big Ten, along with directors of broadcasting from top school's around the nation and national television outlets such as ESPN and Fox Sports.
In his 16th year with the Texas Tech Athletics Department, Hougland is responsible for all the video broadcasts for the Red Raiders, while also coordinating the video needs of all 17 intercollegiate sports. He and his staff produce each home broadcast along with various coaches' television shows. Under Hougland's direction, Texas Tech has become the only school in the Big 12 to run all three of its video boards from one central location inside the United Spirit Arena.
