Lady Raiders in the Hunt Entering Final Round

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf team is the hunt for a bid into the NCAA Championships as the Lady Raiders enter Saturday's final round in ninth place at the NCAA East Regional in Greenville, N.C.
A day after matching their lowest round of the season, Tech followed with a 10-over 295 that puts the Lady Raiders in a tie with TCU for ninth at 7-over overall. Florida State currently sits in eighth place at 5-over par, while Duke leads the entire field at 8-under.
After starting the day in a tie for 10th place, Rosalyn Kim shot to the top of the leaderboard with a 3-under 69 to match Duke's Kim Donovan, South Carolina's Katie Burnett and Pepperdine's Danielle Kang at 5-under overall. Gabriella Dominguez followed an even-par first round with a 2-over 74, while Beverly Mendoza currently sits at 4-over par overall after her 6-over 78 on Friday.
The Lady Raiders drew another 8 a.m. tee time for Saturday's final round. The top eight teams advance to the NCAA Championships, held May 18-21 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
