Texas Tech Athletics Department to Offer Online Auction

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department is offering the Red Raider faithful an opportunity to own pieces of Tech history, special gameday packages, and autographed memorabilia from their favorite athletes and coaches in its online auction Tuesday. Fans can visit to bid on the items. The auction will be available for two weeks.

Ultimate Red Raider Football Game Day Experience Package: Now is your chance to bid on the Ultimate Red Raider Football Game Day experience package for the 2010 Home Opener vs. SMU on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 2:30pm. One lucky fan and a guest will receive two premium club level seats in the new east side of Jones AT&T Stadium, two passes to the Red Raider Club hospitality venue for a delicious pre-game meal, two sideline passes to enjoy the pre-game activities, and experience kick-off with a direct view of the action, as well as two autographed Coach Tommy Tuberville game day programs. The winner will also receive a complimentary parking pass in a very close proximity to Jones AT&T Stadium. The winner will have the chance to capture this great experience by taking your own photos on the field as well as have your photo snapped by Texas Tech Athletics!
Ultimate Red Raider Soccer Game Day Experience Package: Roll out the Red Carpet at the 2010 Red Raider Soccer Home Opener game on Friday, August 20th at the Red Raiders take on Texas Christian Univ. at 7 p.m. at the John Walker Soccer Complex on the beautiful campus of Texas Tech University. One lucky fan will receive four reserved seats in the stands as well as a special tour with three friends inside the new $5 million dollar soccer complex. Experience the excitement of kicking out the official game ball to the teams as well as enjoying four Coca-Cola drinks and popcorn vouchers. This is a must have for any soccer fan and we want you to be our VIP guest to this game!
Reserve Parking Pass on Gameday: Roll out the red carpet on Sunday, Sept. 5, when your Red Raiders take on Southern Methodist Univ. at Jones AT&T Stadium. Experience all your pre-game festivities within yards of Jones Stadium with your coveted football game day reserved parking pass. Parking spot may be used for parking or tailgating. Parking pass is only good for the Sunday, September 5th game only.
The auction also includes autographed items from former Texas Tech Red Raiders Zach Thomas and Kliff Kingsbury as well as current head football coach Tommy Tuberville.
There will also be a large amount of apparel including Red Raider Football Under Armour sweat bottoms as well as Under Armour Red Raider Volleyball game day jerseys. Own a piece of history by bidding on a United Spirit Arena inaugural ticket stub autographed by former Lady Raider basketball coach Marsha Sharp from Nov. 20, 1999.
The auction also includes the original Red Steagall and the Travis Brothers, "Red Raider Coming at You," 1982 record set which includes the Tech Fight Song and Matador Song.
Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the items for only two weeks at which time the winners will be determined.
