LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf program returns to the links Monday morning when the Lady Raiders tee off at the Windy City Collegiate Championships in Highland Park, Ill.
The tournament marks Tech's second of the season after the Lady Raiders finished fourth in the season-opening Ptarmigan Ram Classic in mid-September.
Gabby Dominguez and Kim Kaufman helped lead the way for Tech in Colorado as the two juniors both notched top-10 finishes. Hannah Arnold posted her best career finish as well, wrapping the two-day event in a tie for 17th overall.
The three players will once again be in Tech's lineup, joining Beverly Mendoza and Elin Arvidsson as head coach JoJo Robertson will be going with the same five players for the second-straight tournament.
The Lady Raiders are one of four Big 12 schools competing as Iowa State, Texas, and Oklahoma State join defending champion Purdue in the 15-team field.
Tech concluded last year's tournament in third place at 39-over-par, eight strokes back of second-place Iowa State and 15-strokes behind the Boilermakers. Kaufman recorded Techs' highest finish as she wrapped the tournament in a tie for fourth overall.
Arvadson will be the first Lady Raider to tee off in the morning as she begins on the 10th hole at 8:15 a.m. The rest of Tech's lineup will immediately follow.
