LUBBOCK, Texas - A group comprised primarily of paramedic and firefighter professionals will be at the Allen Theatre on Monday, February 21 at 7 p.m., conducting their popular STREET SMART program for Tech student-athletes.
The powerful presentation, complete with videos, photos, medical equipment and real-life anecdotes, gives students a look at the consequences of making poor choices behind the wheel. Many of the lessons learned during the presentation have been proven to save lives.
The Allen Theatre will host the event, beginning at 7 p.m. (Note that all student-athletes in attendance for the program will receive two hours of study hall credit.)
