LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf teams returns to the links this weekend with the start of the Kinderlou Challenge, played at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga.
The Lady Raiders tee off at 8:40 a.m. (CT) in the three-day, 54-hole format. Tech will send out the lineup of Gabby Dominguez, Kim Kaufman, Beverly Mendoza, Deborah DeVilla, and Hannah Arnold.
Tech is the only school from the Big 12 Conference represented in the field of 14 teams that is hosted by Kennesaw State. No. 10 Georgia is the highest ranked team participating.
Tech is coming off a 15th place showing a week ago at the Lady Pureto Rico Classic. Dominguez entered the final round with a share of the tournament lead but eventually fell to a tie for 20th at day's end.
Tulane claimed the 2010 Kinderlou Challenge title but is not among the team participating this year. Fans can keep up with the action at www.golfstat.com.
