- The win guaranteed Tech a share of the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic title.
- Texas Tech's 19 runs scored were its most since scoring 24 against North Carolina Central on March 12 of last year. It marks a new season-high for Tech.
- The Red Raiders' four home runs in the game matched its season high set against Utah Valley last Sunday (Feb. 20).
- Logan Hall matched her career high set only the day before with another seven RBI game. Through three games of the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic, Hall has 15 RBIs in the tournament.
- Raven Richardson extended her career-long hit streak to 10 games after a 1-for-2 day at the plate. The junior infielder added two runs scored and two RBIs to go along with a walk.
- Cydney Allen's home run in the fourth inning was her third of the weekend and fourth of the year. She has had a home run in each game of the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic. Allen went 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk, two runs scored, and three RBIs.
- Taylor Powell followed Allen's homer in the fourth with a solo shot of her own. The dinger was the first of her career.
- The Red Raiders are now one win shy of matching the longest win streak in school history.
