LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Athletics has announced the return of the annual Red Raider Play Day. The Lubbock community is invited to bring children, ages 6 to 10 years old, out to play with their some of their favorite Tech student-athletes. The event will be held on Sunday, April 3rd, from 2-4 p.m. at Jones AT&T Stadium.
The Play Day experience provides children and their parents the opportunity to engage in physical activities in a fun and safe environment. All stations, activities and games will be operated by Tech student-athletes and is the perfect opportunity for families to have an enjoyable day together at no cost. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)
The fun-filled event is organized by Texas Tech student-athletes and the Red Raider Life Skills program which is operated as part of the Athletic Academic Services Office.
Those interested in attending need to fill out the application and consent form at (link below) and fax it to (806) 742-0575 by Friday, April 1, or bring it to registration on the day of the event. Please remember that the consent form is required for all children and all children and must be accompanied by an adult.
