LUBBOCK, Texas - Fresh off its best performance of the spring, the Texas Tech women's golf team heads to the west coast for the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, which begins Monday at the Half Moon Bay Golf Club near San Francisco.
The Lady Raiders will play 36 holes Monday with the final 18 holes beginning Tuesday morning. The event is co-hosted by UC Davis and Oregon.
Tech is coming off by far its best outing this spring with a sixth-place finish at the MountainView Collegiate Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. Gabby Dominguez wrapped the tournament in a tie for fourth overall, her third-straight top 20 finish.
This marks Tech's first appearance in the 12-team tournament, which also includes Big 12 foes Colorado and Texas A&M. Head coach JoJo Robertson will be going with her usual lineup of Dominguez, Kim Kaufman, Deborah DeVilla, Alex Gibson, and Hannah Arnold.
The Lady Raiders, who are paired with San Jose State and San Francisco in the shotgun start, tee off at 10 a.m. (CT) Monday morning. Fans can keep up-to-date on the tournament by visiting www.golfstat.com.
