What was your best golfing accomplishment during the 2011 fall season?
For me, it was finishing second at the OU event. It was the highest finish so far, so that was a big deal for me.
What was your favorite part about Puerto Rico a few weeks ago?
Oh gosh, that's a hard one. I loved everything about it. I loved getting back into the season. We took a freshman with us and that was her first tournament, so that was fun. And just getting back into it. We had a long break over Christmas, and just getting back out there and competing against some really good teams in Puerto Rico.
What's special about this year's team?
We don't have any seniors. We have four juniors, all who have been here for three years, and it's our turn to lead the team finally. I think we've done a good job and it's been really fun for us to help the underclassmen. We've been waiting for a while. It's finally like our team.
What is your personal goal for this spring?
My personal goal is to get my first win. It's been my goal for a while. I haven't got it, so hopefully this is the season.
What is your dream after college?
I definitely want to play on a tour. Right now that's my number one dream.
What's going to be the best part about getting the new clubhouse at the Rawl's Golf Course?
Oh my gosh, everything! Obviously, for recruiting, but just for us to enjoy as well to have a locker room. A place to hang out as a team. It will help us so much, and it will help us recruit, especially.
What is it like playing in the Lubbock weather?
We have some interesting days. We also have some great days. In the end it makes us better as a team, as individual players to go somewhere else and it's always so much easier without as much wind.
When was the first time you ever went golfing?
Oh my gosh, I was like four years old. I don't really remember it. My sister and I went with my dad when he played, and we just started to putt and chip, we just started playing. I don't remember the first time, but I also don't remember ever not golfing. I was o young. I've always been on a golf course.
