Lady Raiders Set to Tee Off in Florida

The No. 43 Lady Raiders will tee off Monday at the Web.com Intercollegiate in Florida.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Texas Tech Lady Raider golf team looks to end the month of March with another successful tournament when it tees off in the first round of the Web.com Intercollegiate on Monday at Marsh Landing Golf Course in Jacksonville, Florida.
The No. 43 Lady Raiders are coming off a third-place finish at the Briar's Creek Invitational last week. Tech had three golfers (Stephanie Bertelsen, Sarah Brown, Lauren Mason) finish tied for 14th while all six golfer competing finished in the top 30 out of 93 players.
Joining Tech in Florida will be No. 32 Miami, No. 36 Florida State, No. 41 Ohio State, No. 44 Coastal Carolina, No. 53 Minnesota, Chatanooga, Daytona State, Illinois, James Madison, Kennesaw State, McNeese State, North Florida, Sam Houston State, Texas State, Toledo and host Jacksonville.
Brown leads all Tech golfers with a 73.6 average through 24 rounds of play this season. She carded her second-lowest score of the season last week at Briar's Creek with a 4-under 68 - her eighth round under par this year.
Tech is currently ranked No. 43 by Golfstat and 46th by Golfweek. The Lady Raiders are fourth in the Big 12 Conference with Brown, Bertelsen and Kimmy Hill all ranked in the top 13 in the conference.
The Lady Raiders will tee off in shotgun start beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT on holes one through four alongside Florida State, Miami and Coastal Carolina.
