Texas Tech To Graduate 32 Student-Athletes

32 Red Raider student-athletes spanning nine sports will graduate this weekend.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Thirty-two Red Raider student-athletes spanning nine sports will receive their diplomas at this weekend's graduation ceremonies, which will take place inside United Supermarkets Arena.
Five Lady Raider basketball players, 10 football players, one soccer player, two baseball players, two tennis players, three volleyball players and nine track & field athletes will represent a Texas Tech athletic department that was not only responsible for three Big 12 team titles and 12 postseason appearances on the field this year, but also 97 Academic All-Conference honors for work in the classroom.
On Friday, Arts & Sciences Graduates will walk across the stage during a 3 p.m. ceremony, followed by graduate students at 7 p.m. On Saturday, at 9 a.m., graduates majoring in Human Sciences, Education, Engineering, Architecture, and Visual & Performing Arts will receive their diplomas, followed by graduates earning degrees in Business Administration, Media and Communication, Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, University Programs, Wind Energy and Honors College graduates at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
