Texas Tech has partnered with SIDEARM Sports for its official athletics website
LUBBOCK, Texas – Online and mobile users of Texas Tech's official athletics website, texastech.com, will notice a significant change on Friday morning when the department unveils an enhanced web design.
The site remodel is part of a new partnership between Texas Tech Athletics and SIDEARM, the nation's leader in college athletics websites. SIDEARM powers roughly 900 websites across all levels of collegiate athletics and is considered among the most innovative online companies nationally.
"We could not be more excited about the new TexasTech.com," Texas Tech Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Giovannetti said. "When we decided to change our website layout, we wanted to have a cutting-edge design while being as user-friendly to our fans as possible. I believe we have accomplished those goals."
TexasTech.com will continue to be the official home for all breaking news, recaps and the latest news on Texas Tech Athletics. As part of the site design, fans will experience enhanced navigation abilities in order to find the most upcoming events and also purchase tickets.
In addition, Texas Tech TV will continue to have an online presence with greater capabilities through SIDEARM's video portals. Texas Tech will still broadcast many of its Olympic sports online as well as the radio broadcasts for football, men's and women's basketball and baseball.
