Springer Qualifies For FedEx St. Jude Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Red Raider freshman Hayden Springer took fourth place at Sunday's FedEx St. Jude Classic Open Qualifier, qualifying for next weekend's PGA event in Memphis, Tenn.
Springer shot a 3-under 67 at today's one-round event before outlasting three other players in a playoff to determine the final qualifying spot.
Springer will now participate in the FedEx St. Jude Classic, set for June 9-12, in Memphis, at TPC Southwind.
Springer competed in four tournaments for the Red Raiders during the 15-16 season, sporting a scoring average of 75.17.
