Texas Tech to host ITA Kick-Off Weekend for third straight year
Tempe, Ariz. – The No. 7 Texas Tech Women's Tennis team has been selected as one of the 16 campus sites to host the 2018 ITA Kick-Off Weekend on Jan. 26-29, 2018.

No. 42 Florida International, Wichita State and St. Mary's (CA) comes to Lubbock for the two-day dual match tournament.

This is the third-straight year the Lady Raiders have hosted the event. Coming off a program's first Elite Eight appearance, the Lady Raiders finished with the highest final ranking in school history at No. 7 in the country, earning them a bid to host the Kick-Off Weekend once again.

The McLeod Tennis Center is one of 16 sites across the country playing host the ITA Kickoff Weekend. The winner of the Lubbock site will punch its ticket to the ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.

The Lady Raiders will face St. Mary's while Florida International and Wichita State square off. The championship and consolation matches will follow the next day.
