Women’s Tennis Continues Fall Action at Vanderbilt Duals

Lady Raiders to face Top 10 competition in Nashville

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team continues the fall slate this weekend at the June Stewart Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt.

The Lady Raiders will face student-athletes from Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee State during the three-day hidden dual tournament. Each day will feature one round of singles and a round of doubles for each team. Play begins Friday with singles at 9 a.m.

Vanderbilt closed out the 2017-18 season at no. 2 in the country after losing in the final match to Stanford. The Commodores return seven to this year's team.

Georgia Tech ended their run last season at No. 5 in the nation. The Yellow Jackets fell to Vanderbilt in the semifinals of the national championship.
