After sitting out her freshman year due to injury, outfielder Michaela Cochran is especially excited for the home opener.
After traveling for two consecutive weeks, my team and I are especially excited to play on our home turf. Nothing is like playing on the field you have spent so many hours practicing and perfecting your craft. I am looking forward to competing with my team in our natural habitat at The Rock, a place where we know how the field plays with no surprises. Although Florida was beautiful with nice sunny weather, there is no feeling of being back at home.

After sitting out last year and playing our first two tournaments of 2018 on the road, I can not contain myself. I have looked forward to playing at The Rock since I signed my letter of intent my senior year. I love our field, and to finally play somewhere you are completely comfortable is a feeling like no other.
Being out for a whole year and getting to see people play the sport you love is a hard thing to do. However, with this new year brings many new opportunities. By being out, it allowed me to recognize my own talent and all of the assets I can bring to this team. This year brings together a whole new group of people and environment, and let me tell you...we are hungry.
