Four Lady Raiders, Doubles Pair Ranked by ITA

Talaba, Maltby, Dvorak, Federici earn spots in latest ITA Poll
TEMPE, Ariz. – Four Lady Raiders and a doubles duo earned spots in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings, the ITA announced Wednesday.

Senior Gabriela Talaba leads the Lady Raiders at No. 13 in the country. She opened the season with a 2-2 record after facing three ranked opponents. She earned her first dual match win of the season last weekend against TCU.

Junior Felicity Maltby moved to No. 44 in the latest poll. After a rough start at the Michigan Invitational, Maltby has won three straight matches, including a win over a ranked opponent in TCU's Aleksa Cveticanin.

Senior Sabrina Federici earned her highest ranking as she came in at No. 72 in the country. Federici is one of two Lady Raiders to be undefeated so far this season. She picked up her sixth straight win and first over a ranked opponent this season with a 7-6 (7), 6-2 victory over TCU's Aleksandra Zenovka.

Senior Sarah Dvorak jumped into the rankings at No. 108 in the country after posting a 5-1 record to open the season. She earned back-to-back wins over ranked opponents during the opening weekend. Â

Dvorak and Federici jumped to No. 16 in the country after receiving a preseason ranking of No. 21. The pair started the season 2-3 and earned a Top 25 win over Wichita State's no. 1 duo.
