Softball Concludes Fall Slate with Red & Black Series

The Red Raiders will close out the fall season with three games at Rocky Johnson Field.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech softball team is set to close out the fall season with its annual Red & Black Series on Oct. 9-11 at Rocky Johnson Field.

First pitch for all three games is set for 5:30 p.m. and admission is free to the public.

The Red Raiders opened up their fall slate with strong 10-0 and 15-0 wins over McLennan Community College (Sept. 13) before downing Odessa College 7-1 on Sept. 17. Tech returned to the Rocky Johnson Field on Sept. 25 and ground out 5-4 and 7-0 wins against Howard College.

The next day, head coach Adrian Gregory's squad blasted a monstrous 22 runs against Clarendon College. Finally, the Red Raiders routed Midland College 12-0 in their most recent matchup on Oct. 3.
