We have had 29 games and somehow this team is not weary whatsoever. If anything, we are more persistent and trusting than we've ever been as we approach our first conference series this weekend. We are grateful for every little thing this front half of our scheduled season has brought us and taught us. From crazy flight delays to winning our first upset of the season, we have experienced and learned a lot. We are beyond excited to take our drive and passion into our conference and attack this back part of our scheduled season.Â
In case y'all didn't know we are 27-2…which is absolutely amazing!! This first part of the season truly allowed us to build our identity, and our confidence, as a whole. We have created this incredible trust that is like nothing I've ever experienced before on a team, and now there is just pure excitement inside of us to finally get into conference. This part of the season is great because you get to focus on one opponent instead of multiple, and you get to truly battle. For some of us we have been through the experience of the first conference series, and for others like our freshmen they get to experience it for the first time which is awesome because it's such a monumental moment to have. It's exciting because we get to go into this together, absolutely confident in who we are, and believe in the grind we have had.Â
We take on Oklahoma this weekend and we are 100% ready to trust ourselves and the work we have put in. We are ready. We are ready to make a statement. We are ready to shock the world. Everything we have been building and working for has been leading up to this point in season.Â
We are ready to unleash.Â
