The Player's Journal: Reaping What We've Sown

Another week, another opportunity! Bring it on, baby! The energy this team brings into each day, whether game day or not, is unreal. It's a driving force that has allowed us to create so much opportunity for ourselves to take on each day fearlessly. Outworking and bringing the most energy has been something we that we have incorporated into our team culture for so many years and, more than ever now, we are reaping the benefits of that with grateful hearts.

We are 19-1 and at the top of many different categories in our conference. Meanwhile, our rankings just keep climbing and there is no sign of it stopping anytime soon. We will continue to surprise our opponents and those around but, as for this team, it comes as no surprise. These are the results that come from an undeniable work ethic and purpose that fuels us each day.

It's incredible to see how the years of building this culture have brought so much success. It's even more incredible that our newcomers can continue to solidify that identity while making it their own for years to come. Our genuine love for each other and the values we uphold are things that we all share the same passion for and it sets this team and this staff apart from anyone we face. Nothing can stop this team!

Going into the weekend, we are humbled to host another Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic. We strive to honor her influential legacy and appreciate all she has done for women's athletics at Texas Tech University.
