The Player's Journal: Our Bus Can't Be Stopped

We have officially hit the halfway mark in conference and the only word I can say is WOW. We've been ranked for eight weeks now and we only have eight losses... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! But let's not dwell on that, the best is yet to come!Â
We get to take a little road trip down to Waco, Texas, for a three-game series against Baylor this weekend. We are all a little happy that we won't be traveling by airplane this week because it seems like it's not a Texas Tech Softball trip without a delay in the airport.Â
We've worked hard this week and have stayed focused. We were able to work through the things we needed too and also crush some challenges along the way. We even had some fun with a little water balloon fight after practice, only because it was like 92 degrees (but we aren't complaining one bit, this is so much better than the cold).Â
Everyone has said it, but I'll say it again. This team is special. This team is like no other. From our faith in God to our faith in each other, our bus can't be stopped.Â
And just in case you missed it, the men's basketball team came up just short of winning the national championship this week but had an unbelievable season!!!! They reminded us that the game never knows who's going to win and it's up to us to make it happen! So, let's make it happen!!Â
