Hogan Shoots 4-Under to Move Up Leaderboard

CARROLLTON, Texas – Kyle Hogan will go into the final round of the Maridoe Collegiate two strokes behind the leader after shooting 4-under-par on Monday while Garrett Martin is in seventh at 2-over at the Maridoe Golf Club.
The Red Raiders will go into the final round in eighth place at 31-over after carding 310-297 – 607 through the first two rounds. Oklahoma State leads the tournament at 16-over (592), followed by Baylor which is at 17-over and Pepperdine (20-over). Texas Tech senior Sandy Scott was unable to play Monday's round due to injury.
Hogan, who is playing as an individual this week, made five birdies and only one bogey to take a 74-68 – 142 scorecard into Tuesday's final round. He is just two back of Luke Kluver of Kansas who is at 4-under following shooting 68-72 – 140 through two rounds. Markus Braadlie is at 4-over as an individual with a 70-78 to his name at the third tournament for the Red Raiders this fall. Braadlie is also playing as an individual this week.
Martin shot 2-under on Monday with five birdies, including shooting 4-under on the front nine to climb up the leaderboard. He's currently at 76-70 – 146 going into the final round while Ludvig Aberg shot 2-over on Monday and goes into Tuesday with a 76-74 – 150 (6-over) scorecard. Aberg had three birdies on Monday, but also had three bogeys and a double. Andy Lopez is at 83-75 – 158 and Baard Skogen is at 82-78 – 160 for the team results. Aberg goes into Tuesday in 22nd on the leaderboard and Carl Didrik Meen Fosaas is in 28th at 80-72 – 152.
Following this week's tournament, Texas Tech will conclude its fall schedule at the prestigious East Lake Cup on Oct. 26-28 in Atlanta, Georgia.
