Trio of Red Raiders Tie for Second at DBU Tournament

DENTON, Texas – A trio of Texas Tech golfers tied for second place at the DBU Men's Classic with Carl Didrik Meen Fosaas, Markus Braadlie and JP Roller shooting 6-under-par at the two-day tournament at the Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch.
Playing as individuals, the three Red Raiders were one shot off Ryan Dixon (St. Mary's) who won the tournament at 7-under with a final-round 69.
Meen Fosaas finished the tournament with a 68-74-68 – 210 after making five birdies and only one bogey on Tuesday, while Braadlie had a 69-70-71 – 210 scorecard. Roller closed out the tournament at 6-under after carding a 69-68-73 – 210. Braadlie finished the tournament with four birdies on Tuesday's round. The trio of Red Raiders each had 14 birdies each during the 54-hole tournament.
Texas Tech will return to team competition this weekend at the Aggie Invitational at the Traditions Golf Club in College Station for its final in-state tournament. The team will complete the regular season by playing at the Thunderbird Collegiate from April 16-17 in Phoenix, Arizona.
