Miller Inducted into Orange County Softball Hall of Fame

Red Raider softball assistant coach Brittany Miller was inducted into the Orange County Softball Hall of Fame for the Class of 2020.
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – Texas Tech softball assistant Coach Brittany Miller was inducted into the Orange County Softball Hall of Fame Monday, June 14 as part of the Class of 2020.
Miller (neé Weil) was a standout pitcher at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, Calif. from 2001-04. While at Pacifica, she garnered First Team All-League, All-County and All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) honors all four years on the varsity team. Other accolades included three-time All-Region and two-time All-American status. She set the CIF record for career wins with 102 victories in the circle.
After graduating from Pacifica, Miller continued her education and softball career at the University of Iowa where she was a four-time All-Big Ten selection from 2006-09. She was named NFCA First Team All-Region and Second Team All-American as a senior for the Hawkeyes and remains the only player in Iowa softball history to earn Team MVP honors in each of her four seasons.
Miller joins Mark Campbell, Martha Noffsinger, Kelli Moore, Tiffany Boyd, Tammy Lohmann and Kelsey Kollen in the 2020 Orange County Softball Hall of Fame Inductees.
