Red Raiders Ranked No. 9 in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men's golf team will go into the 2021-22 season ranked No. 9 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Red Raiders finished 11th at the NCAA Championship last season after winning the NCAA Albuquerque Regional Championship to advance to the national tournament. Texas Tech begins its season next week at The Carmel Cup from Sept. 3-5 at Pebble Beach.
Defending national champion Pepperdine will enter the season ranked first after receiving 14 of 21 first-place votes.
Oklahoma State and Arizona State each tallied two first-place votes and rank second and third, respectively. North Carolina checked in at No. 4. Texas, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma each received one first place vote and filled spots five through seven. Wake Forest, Texas Tech, and Illinois rounded out the top 10.
