Usoro remains on The Bowerman Watch List

It’s the ninth time Usoro has appeared on the list
LUBBOCK, Texas – Senior jumps specialist Ruth Usoro was named to The Bowerman Women's Mid-Indoor Watch List Wednesday afternoon.
Usoro has competed in one meet this season and that was the season-opener. In that meet, the Nigeria native placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 13.37m (44'-2.5") while taking first in the long jump with a mark of 6.48m (21'-3.25"). She would be named the Big 12 Athlete of the Week following the season-opener.
In the entire NCAA landscape, Usoro currently ranks eighth in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump.
In Texas Tech history, only 2019 men's finalist Divine Oduduru has had more career appearances (10) on The Bowerman Watch List. The next update will be released on Wednesday, March 2.
