The Red Raiders host their final home meet of the year this weekend
NEW ORLEANS – In the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings released Monday afternoon, the Texas Tech men stayed at No. 2, while the women jumped into the top-25 for the first time this outdoor season, check in at No. 22.
For the men, this marks the second-straight week at No. 2. The women last week were ranked No. 31.
As far as the top five goes on the men's side, TTU is the only team that boasts three national leaders – Terrence Jones, 100m (9.91), Caleb Dean, 400m hurdles (48.47) and Zach Bradford, pole vault (5.86m | 19-2 ¾). Overall, they hold six top-5 national marks and nine top-10 national marks.
