NEW ORLEANS, La. – Freshman high jumper Temitope Adeshina was named the Co-U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon. She shared the weekly national honor with LSU's Michaela Rose.
In just her second meet as a Red Raider, Adeshina became the new high jump record holder with a 1.96m (6-5) clearance – first TTU female athlete to clear the 6-3 mark.
