Notes:
- Texas Tech heads to the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate after finishing tied for fourth at the Jim West Challenge, Oct. 20-21. The Red Raiders shot a team 54-hole season-low 15-under-par 849 as well as a single-round season-best 13-under-par 275 in the final round.
- The event hosted by TCU, is the inaugural edition of the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate.
- The 11-team field at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate includes a trio of conference colleagues in Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU.
- The Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate will consist of two rounds on Monday, Oct. 28, and the third and final round on Tuesday, Oct. 29 with shotgun starts both days at 8:30 a.m. CT.
- The event represents the Red Raiders' fifth and final tournament of the fall season before resuming play in February for the spring season.
- Junior Lauren Zaretsky set a new single-round season-low 7-under-par 66, at the Jim West Challenge, in her most recent round of golf. It helped earn her a tie for second place at the Jim West Challenge and her third top-20 finish of the fall. Zaretsky's runner-up position at the Jim West Challenge was secured using her best 54-hole score this season (9-under 207).
- Zaretsky leads the Red Raiders with a 71.6 season scoring average this season after 12 rounds over four tournaments.Â
- Maja Ambroziak checks in second behind Zaretsky for the lowest scoring average this season with a 72.8 scoring average. She leads the Red Raiders with eight rounds carded par or better this season.Â
- Both Ambroziak and Kylee Loewe finished tied for 18th place at the Jim West Challenge, earning Ambroziak her second top-20 finish this season while it was Loewe's first.
- Loewe is coming off a career tournament at the Jim West Challenge, tabbing her first career top-20 finish assisted by a career-best 54-hole 2-under-par 214.
- Klara Hurtova had a strong finish to her last event. She carded her second round in the 60s this season, firing a 4-under 68 in the final round of the Jim West Challenge. Two rounds in the 60s rank second this season behind Zaresky's team lead of three.
- Newcomer Danique Stokmans will be featured in the lineup for the fourth time in five tournaments at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate. Stokmans owns the fourth-best season scoring average on the team, checking in with a 74.3 average.Â
- The Texas Tech staff in 2024 features Anna Dong, hired on Aug. 27, 2024. Dong was the 2023 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year who played five seasons for JoJo Robertson.
